Jocelia Her Many Horses

Chiefs Nation Online congratulates Jocelia Her Many Horses for being our featured athlete. Her Many Horses is a senior at Wyoming Indian High School. She is the daughter of Taylor and Marilyn Her Many Horses. In school, she is the Student Body President. Outside of school, she enjoys social activities such as going to haunted houses, eating out, going to the park, watching movies, and watching sport events with friends. She has contributed to the Lady Chiefs Cross Country team for four years and also participates in basketball and track.

“I play sports because it’s like my second home. Doesn’t matter which sports activity is it, I’m always down to play. I spend almost all of my time playing in sports because that’s what I grew up around. I enjoy my time in it and the company around me,” said Her Many Horses.

Her Many Horses was chosen as the Featured Athlete at WIHS because she is a leader on the team. Her Many Horses leads the cross country teams warm-ups and cool-downs daily, she takes on other responsibilities even when she isn’t directly asked, and she is encouraging and gives advice to her teammates, according to Coach Sam Hartpence.

“In practice, she brings dependable effort every day, and is often encouraging and gives advice to our less experienced runners,” said Hartpence.

“She has always given her best at every workout and every race. She has always been very positive, helpful, and a leader for all her teammates over the four year span.  She is a true student athlete with her grades,  and a true Lady Chief with her school spirit,” added Coach Julie Her Many Horses.

Her Many Horses plans to attend college and study business and finance.
