Lady Chiefs and Chiefs Win Big!

If you were in the gym Thursday night, you could see the color of red across the gymnasium floor. Both teams on the court were wearing red for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The Wyoming Indian Chiefs and Lady Chiefs hosted the Lodge Grass Indians and Lady Indians from Montana. The Lady Chiefs and Chiefs both protected their home court by winning 67-50 for the girls and 80-70 for the boys. After the game the Chiefs and Lady Chiefs hosted a big carry-in dinner to serve the Lodge Grass teams.

The players were also wearing red to show support for the Crow community as 16 year-old Selena S. Bell went missing on New Years and still hasn’t been found.
